Will low shoes keep the foot dry in morning dew and drizzle?
+ -Ordinary moisture yes, especially leather models and shoes with a water-repellent finish. Wet grass and a short drizzle won’t catch them out. For all-day rain and puddles, though, wellies are the ones built for it; save the low-cut shoes for drier days and manage moisture with regular waterproofing.
Velcro or laces?
+ -For preschoolers and younger schoolchildren, definitely velcro; independent shoe-putting-on is priceless.
